Let’s take a look at some excellent British films that I believe to be worthy of note. The first film is an excellent film called ‘Pure’ starring Keira Knightley and Molly Parker. It tells the tale of a young boy having to deal with his mother’s heroin addiction. Like Trainspotting but more gritty, less arty. Here’s a fan trailer.

Made In Britain is an excellent film that tells the tale of a punk making his way through the juvenile detention system in the 80s. The punk is Tim Roth.

I.D. is a great film about hooliganism seen by many to still be at the very top of its genre.

Excellent suggestions! May I add some of my own?

    - ‘Liam’ by Stephen Frears
    - ‘The Loneliness of The Long Distance Runner’ by Tony Richardson
-’Let Him Have It’ by Peter Medak

Of course, I can’t possibly miss ‘The Full Monty’ :-)

    Thanks for a great post!
