12-07-07 01.21 – Good Music (#4)
Today we will have a selection of bands from somewhere in the locus of the hardcore genre started by bands such as Unsane. Lets start at the top with 2 killer tracks from Sick of It All… Here they are, tearing it up @ Magma 07.
Next up are the Gallows. This is the track ‘Abandon Ship’.
One of my favourite hardcore bands, Will Haven were at their best right at their inception. One of their finest songs this is ‘Slopez’ off their 1999 record ‘WHVN’.
Let’s head off the beaten path and veer into Stoner Rock Territory. A band heavily influenced by Kyuss, Fu Manchu hit their peak in 2000 with their album ‘King Of the Road’. As smooth as silk, here’s the title track.
